Though we are about a month away from the official Fall Solstice, we thought it might be nice to let everyone know how amazing our summer has been. (Not to brag or anything...but kind of to brag, yes.)
The highlight of our summer here at pymetrics was that we were lucky enough to have five amazing interns working with us this year. Cristina, Lydia, Shanie, Chris and Renny worked hard, played hard and generally made the office a lively and fun place to be. Intern activities included copious amounts of ping-pong, networking lunches at Work-Bench, aerial yoga, and rock climbing.
The interns helped with everything from dog-sitting to coding to design and social media. We are excited to see them do amazing things back at school this fall!
We continue to grow our academic partnerships, and are excited to welcome The University of San Diego Business School, Pomona College, Colby College and Borough of Manhattan Community College to our wonderful list of incredible partners.
We have integrated with Greenhouse to offer compatible job postings directly within pymetrics. Log into your account and check out your results page to see this new feature!
Women in STEM and diversity in tech have always been close to our heart at pymetrics, and Frida has been working hard as champion for both. Her blog post on Forbes illustrates why the Rooney Rule won't solve the diversity in tech problem, and she was recently featured in the Women in STEM My Story/My Advice blog. Oh, and she also found time to get married!
This summer has been a busy and eventful few months for us. Thanks for all the support, and we are looking forward to more fun this fall!
