“Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,

And sorry I could not travel both,

And be one traveler, long I stood;

And looked down one as far as I could;

To where it bent in the undergrowth…”

–Robert Frost

All of us come across divergent paths at one point in our lives, most likely many times. Sometimes our road gives us two options, perhaps three, maybe many more.  When it comes to choosing our careers, our path splits and divides in hundreds of ways— Do we take the paths safe and worn, or the ones less traveled by? How are we supposed to choose which path is right for us?

It’s safe to say that choosing a career is difficult in this day and age. It’s confusing sorting through all your interests, weighing their potentials. Of course, there is always the trepidation in deciding to do what you love, which might take courage, and deciding to do what will make you the most money. If you can find the right balance, odds are that you will be happy with your job.

Unfortunately, according to Deloitte’s Shift Index survey, the majority of people –80%-- are unhappy with their jobs. No one wants to end up as one of those people. So how do we find the right job?

The key to deciding your career path is to find out which jobs fit perfectly with your personality and interests—so that you’re not stuck with a job that you dislike, or are bad at, or both.

pymetrics has that key. Using decades of well-established neuroscience research, the pymetrics games assess fifty key cognitive and emotional traits that reveal a person’s unique characteristics. You play the games, and your brain reacts and shows your natural behaviors, which are collected and sorted in the data. You then are given a personalized cognitive, emotional, and social profile.  Most importantly, a career profile reveals your ideal work environment, matching you with the perfect careers--careers that would make you happy and successful.

And pymetrics doesn’t stop there. pymetrics then sends your profile to top companies where you highly match, informing them that you would be a great fit for the company.

Pymetrics will guide you down the right road, and take you one step closer to your ultimate job destination.

Don’t regret the road not taken.
